“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” Psalm 139:16

Hello! I am…

A writer who hates how limiting words can be// An Introverted reader who loves people// A wife to a handsome chemist who is super cool// A Jesus feminist who believes we are all created with intent and purpose.

Words don’t always do justice to describe us, do they? Sometimes they fail to grasp the depth, emotion, and complexity of our very human situations. But something magical happens when you put words together, forming sentences and images. You get just a little closer to describing this beautiful and incredibly complex life. This writing blog tackles grief, friendship, scripture, and everything in between. The topics are heavy enough to press flowers, but light enough to hang on your wall and admire from time to time.

This blog came to be several years ago. In the midst of wedding planning, I found out my Mom had less than 6 months to live. It was the richest, darkest brew I’ve ever had to drink. Complex, bittersweet, and confusing. I liked to write before then, but dealing with grief made me realize I didn’t want to hide my writing anymore.

Thanks for reading!
